If you want a larger snake like a boa i would recommend a red tail boa, by this i mean Colombian red tail. There are many types of red tails, but the Colombians stay on the smaller side and also have the best temperament. Stay away from chain pet stores as well most of there stock is import or ranched. Hermina Ketring: Their cages should be set up similarly. But their temperaments are very different. Boas are much more docile and Bloods can be extremely aggressive. I have seen many more nasty one then nice ones. I would definitely go with the boa if I were you.
