Shad Bushweller: It may be for audio, and if your TV does not have an "optical in" for the input you have chosen, maybe you can feed it to a receiver for kick @$$ audio.The small square with a notch input/ output optical is usually reserved for audio.
Pam Rampadarat: Any HDMI cable will work. Well, you might find one that is in a weird angle and won't fit due to the outside layering.
